Itinerary

tour

This Wadi Rum Camel Tour starts in the morning from the Wadi Rum Rest House, the first building and parking lot in the Wadi Rum Village. The village is a few kilometers past the Wadi Rum Visitor Center where you must pay the entrance fees to Wadi Rum (5 JOD per person or free with the Jordan Pass). After we welcome you to our desert we will talk to you about the famous sites of Wadi Rum and come up with a plan for the day. Next, we will meet the camels and begin our journey in Wadi Rum. As camels don't travel as fast as jeeps, it isn't possible to stop at all of the sites covered on the Jeep Tour but we will come up with a plan to visit the sites that you are most interested in. Our last stop on the Wadi Rum Camel Tour will be a fantastic spot to watch the famous Wadi Rum sunset.

EVENING AND OVERNIGHT

After the tour we will drive to the place where you will spend the night. We will prepare a traditional meal with local ingredients and enjoy dinner together in the desert. After dinner, you can enjoy a relaxing evening before turning in for the night.

We offer three options to provide our guests with a desert night experience that everyone can enjoy.

  1. Sleeping Beneath the Stars: We will set up camp in a remote location away from all of the fixed camps. We will provide you with plenty of blankets to make sure you stay warm during the night as you fall asleep beneath the Milky Way. Dinner will be prepared at the campsite.
  2. Sleeping in a Modern Camping Tent: We will set up camp in a remote location away from all of the fixed camps. We will provide you with a modern camping tent and sleeping equipment for inside the tent. This is a great option for people who want to experience a night away from all of the camps but not be exposed during the night. Dinner will be prepared at the campsite.
  3. Sleeping at our Fixed Camp: After the tour we will drive to our fixed camp where you will enjoy a group dinner with other guests and guides in our communal tent. After an evening of socializing you can head to one of our private goat-haired tents for the night. These tents have proper beds inside to ensure a comfortable sleep.

Let us know which sleeping option you would prefer when you make a booking.
