Jabal Umm Ad Dami - One Day & One Night

Wadi Rum Nature Tours - View from Jabal Um ad Dami

This is a full day hiking tour that starts in the morning and ends at sunset. On this tour, you will climb to the summit of Jabal Umm ad Dami, the highest peak in Jordan (1854 meters above sea level). We will travel south by jeep from the Wadi Rum Village until we reach the southern extreme of the Wadi Rum Protected Area. The journey is around 40 km and zigzags between the many jebels of Wadi Rum. This mountainous hike takes about 5 hours. At the summit you will have a breathtaking view of Wadi Rum's rugged landscape to the north and Saudi Arabia's vast desert to the south.
This tour includes one night with us in the desert. You can choose between sleeping at our desert camp or sleeping in the open air beneath the stars. If you click here, you can see some photos of our camp. We serve meals in the large tent and the smaller tents are private tents for sleeping.

  2. Sleeping Under the Stars: When you choose to sleep beneath the stars, we take you to an area away from all of the camps. We prepare dinner at a cave and we eat around a fire. We provide you with a mattress, pillow, and blankets and you will sleep in the open air under the stars.
